San Tan Valley officially became a town on July 1, 2026 — with more than 100,000 residents, the largest community ever to incorporate in Arizona. Plenty has changed. One thing that has not: there is still no town-run bulk trash program to schedule.
If you moved here from Gilbert, Chandler or Mesa, this is the adjustment that catches people. There is no monthly bulk day to plan around, no free annual allowance, no number to call for a pile pickup. Under Arizona law the new town has to stand up police, streets, planning, code enforcement, permitting and a municipal court. Residential solid waste is not on that required list, and a brand-new municipality does not build a waste division overnight.
What that actually means for your debris
For most of its existence San Tan Valley was unincorporated, which meant residents contracted individually with a private hauler for curbside service rather than getting it through a municipal account. Incorporation has not changed that arrangement. Practically, you have three options for anything bigger than your bin:
- Your private hauler’s bulk add-on, if your contract has one. Check — plans differ, and many residential plans do not include bulk at all.
- Self-haul to a transfer station or landfill. Pinal County residents can drop off at facilities in the area, including the transfer station on East Hunt Highway and landfills out toward Florence, during weekday hours. Bring a truck, straps, gloves, and a tolerance for tipping fees.
- Hire it out and skip the loading and the drive.
There is no fourth option where the town takes it away for free. That is the thing worth knowing before you start a demo.

Old tile, carpet and pad, vanities, countertops, drywall scrap, cabinet boxes. Heavy and sharp, and with no municipal bulk program it has nowhere to go on its own. We load it from wherever it sits — garage, side yard, back patio — sweep up, and haul it off in one trip.
New-build move-in cleanouts
San Tan Valley has been one of the fastest-growing new-build pockets in the East Valley for years, and every closing produces the same garage full of flattened boxes, foam blocks, plastic wrap and pallet scrap. Curbside recycling caps out on that volume immediately. One visit clears it.
Acreage, shed and monsoon cleanups
Lots run big out here and often back onto open desert. That means dead sheds, old swing sets, abandoned above-ground pools, fence panels, and whatever the previous owner left behind the back gate. Monsoon season (June 15 through September 30) contributes downed limbs, shredded palm fronds and blown-in debris. All of it, we take.

We price by the volume your load takes in the trailer, so you pay for the space you use:
- Single item — from $95
- 1/4 trailer — $289 (about 120 cu ft)
- 1/2 trailer — $389 (about 240 cu ft)
- 3/4 trailer — $479 (about 360 cu ft)
- Full trailer — $579 (about 480 cu ft — a 16 ft trailer, roughly 17.8 cubic yards)
Straight comparison: self-hauling will usually be cheaper in raw dollars if you own a truck and have a free morning. Where we make sense is when the pile is heavy, sharp, awkward to lift, or would take three trips — or when the transfer station’s weekday-only hours do not fit your work schedule. Heavy material like tile, concrete, dirt and hot tubs we quote on site first, because weight rather than volume drives that cost.
We are donation-first — anything still usable goes to Goodwill or Habitat for Humanity ReStore before a landfill sees it. On a new-town cleanout that is often more than you would guess.
What we will not take
No paint, chemicals, asbestos, tires with rims, or medical waste — those need specialized disposal, and we would rather say so now than on your driveway. Everything else from a typical San Tan Valley remodel or cleanout, we handle.
